Green Valley
Drainageways Erosion Hazards and Improvements Study
Pima County Flood Control District
RSE provided engineering services to document erosion hazards and
drainageway improvement requirements. RSE's report summarized the
physical status of the drainageways, areas in need of major repairs
or remediation, stable areas that require minor repairs, and areas
that require routine maintenance and inspection. |

Citation Wash
Drainage, 22nd Street to Alvernon Way
City of Tucson Department of Transportation
RSE evaluated the watershed hydrologically and hydraulically and explored
possible flood relief actions that could be completed within the project's
physical and economic constraints. The length of the main channel
within the project limits is approximately 1.1 miles. RSE provided
documentation for input to the City's Stormwater System Planning for
verification of the TSMS hydrology results for the watersheds contributing
runoff to the project area, provided documentation of existing hydraulic
conditions of Citation Wash and identified any adverse flooding conditions,
and proposed measures to mitigate the identified adverse flooding
conditions. |

Rillito Floodplain
Mapping
Pima County Flood Control District
This project consisted of preparing and submitting a request for a
Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) to the Federal Emergency Management
Agency (FEMA) for approximately 12.5 river miles of floodplain and
floodway along Rillito Creek. RSE's services included the collection
of digital data, determination of flood hazard zones, and the preparation
of the FEMA LOMR. |

Agua Caliente
Conditional Letter of Map Revision (CLOMR) Finalization
Pima County Flood Control District
RSE conducted a detailed review of all computer modeling runs, work
maps and bridge and levee as-built information to determine if floodplain
boundaries and floodways were correctly delineated. RSE determined
if the hydraulic model had been correctly tied to flood boundaries
and flood profiles for Tanque Verde Creek and modified and updated
the model. RSE modified the hydraulic model and overlaid and compared
effective FIRM floodplain and floodway boundaries onto existing and
proposed boundaries, prepared new FIRM sheets and hydraulic work maps
showing the revised boundaries and identified the affected property
owners within the floodplain, provided analysis regarding compliance
of the levee and spur dike upstream of Tanque Verde Road with the
hydraulic requirements set forth in the FEMA regulations. |
