Oracle Road
Improvement District, Construction Administration Services
Town of Oro Valley
RSE is providing construction administration to complement our recently
completed civil design and surveying services for this project that
entails roadway widening and intersection improvements. Oracle Road
between Pusch View Lane and La Reserve Drive (approximately 0.6 miles)
will be widened from a 4-lane to a 6-lane road; First Avenue from
Oracle Road to Canada del Oro bridge will be widened from 2-lane configuration
to a 4-lane section; and Pusch View Lane from Oracle Road west will
be widened from 2 lanes to 4 lanes. Construction cost: $4,500,000. |

Wastewater Treatment Facility, Phase III, Expansion and Dechlorination,
Construction Management Services

RSE provided construction management services this project which entailed:
rehabilitation of existing aeration basins; installation of new blowers;
rehabilitation of a gravity thickener; construction of a new gravity
thickener; installation of a new electric generator and building expansion;
upgrade of makeup water station, effluent pump station and process
water station; modifications to existing chlorine building; construction
of primary clarifiers; provision of fire protection equipment; rehabilitation
work to select structures, methane gas piping modification and metering
upgrades. Construction cost: $18,280,000. |

Ina Road Water
Pollution Control Headworks Facility, Construction Management Services
Pima County Wastewater Management
RSE provided construction management services for this new headworks
facility, which replaced the existing headworks, involved upgrading
the facility from a 25 mgd capacity to 50 mgd. The new facility provides
for coarse and fine screening, solids removal, grit removal and odor
control, and lifts the influent flow with screw pumps. Construction
cost: $18,800,000. |

Wetlands Secondary Effluent, 36-inch and 42-inch Reclaimed Main Design
and Construction Management
Tucson Water
As a subcontractor to CH2M Hill, RSE provided engineering for the
pipeline design, effluent pump station design, subconsultant coordination,
and construction management.
RSE provided the final design for 4,800 linear feet of 42" and
36" pipeline and a 40 mgd (ultimate) secondary effluent pump
station.
During the construction, RSE provided full-time inspection on-site
in support of the resident engineer. RSE was also responsible for
shop drawing approvals for pipeline and pump station design components.
Construction cost: $2,500,000. |
